Halfway up the mountain you can see Denver. I was trying to get a picture of the smoke from the big fire SW of Denver, but I couldn't quite see anything convincing.
Here's a picture of the big building you can see from town that I never knew what it was. It's Mesa Laboratory, where they study weather.
The new biotechnology building is so huge. It's one of the biggest buildings in Boulder. (The second big building above the 3rd tree from the left.)
